Servers are often needed for catering events, banquet service at hotels, and occasionally at restaurants when there’s an in-house event with set menu. The Event Server role includes setting up and breaking down service areas, and being attentive to customers’ needs and questions. They take and serve orders for food and beverage service. They maintain a clean and organized server breakdown station, clear plates and glassware, wipes down tables and other areas. They must be highly attentive to customers’ needs, and be able to provide hospitality service with a calm demeanor and smile.
