Bartender - Fixed Menu Jobs in New Orleans

Bartenders who are responsible for a limited bar (beer, wine, and liquor) require proficiency in preparing a high volume of basic liquor drinks with basic mixers (ex: gin & tonic, vodka cranberry, etc) along with beer and wine service. They set up & maintain the cleanliness & condition of the bar, bar unit, tables, & other tools. They also prepare fresh garnishes for recipes for drinks along with restocking ice, glassware, & paper supplies. Transporting supplies to the bar set-up area, and removing soiled wares from the bar top and tables to place in the designated area are also shift duties. With a high attention to detail, they should anticipate & communicate replenishment needs. Closing duties include liquor, beer and wine inventory counts and securing liquors, beers, wines, and coolers in cabinets and storage areas upon close of bar. It is essential to approach Bartending with a strong emphasis on respect and hospitality for customers, and possessing an outgoing personality is highly desirable for the role.
