Winter Product Update: Zip Codes, Tipping, New Positions and More

We have a slew of new updates that are going to make your Qwick experience even better.
Here’s a run-through of all that’s new!
Tipping: Show appreciation for Qwick professionals

We know how important it is to reward great work, and now it’s easier than ever! Businesses will soon be able to add an optional tip on every payment. Whether you need to split a tip pool or simply want to show gratitude for an exceptional professional, this feature gives you the flexibility to recognize hard work instantly and is a great way to build working relationships with your favorite pros!
Unpaid breaks: More control over shift scheduling

Managing breaks just got simpler. When posting a shift or a schedule, you will soon be able to include a break using one of our preset options. The break time will be included in the total shift hours and will appear in the gig cost breakdown, so you’ll have full transparency on scheduling details.
Additionally, professionals will be able to extend their break if necessary when clocking out, offering even greater flexibility while ensuring smooth operations.
Role title updates
We've updated some of the role titles to more closely align with what the industry is using in job postings. Note: no roles are being removed! You can still post for any role that you have before. Here are the old titles followed by the new!
Event Server → Banquet Server
Bartender: Full Service Bar → Bartender
Bartender: Beer and Wine → Beer + Wine Bartender
Event Cook/Action Station → Banquet Cook
Event Setup/Breakdown → Banquet Setup
Zip code matching: More accurate shift connections
Starting now, we are using your business's zip code (as opposed to your market) to match you with the perfect talent for your shifts.
This small tweak makes it easier for professionals to find shifts closer to them, while also expanding the base of pros who see your shifts.
For example, many of our South Florida professionals work shifts in both Miami and Ft. Lauderdale. They can now search for shifts by proximity to their location without changing their market.
This change also helps to minimize callouts by clearly showing pros how close a shift is to them!
